Held on 19th September 2006

1. Apologies. Margaret Coupe, Bert Swain, Ken Smith.

2. Attendance. Sue Hodgson, Mary Battye, Nadine Greenwood, Don McLean, Richard Guiliot, Sheila Whiteley, Audrey Waterhouse.

3. Minutes from August management meeting passed as a true record.

4. Minutes from August Full Fed meeting passed as a true record.

Matters arising

5. It was thought that some have still not grasped the proposed set up of the new constitution.

6. Venue for Fed meetings.

Some people find Bull Green House difficult to get to, not all have transport, not all buses go to the bus station therefore cannot catch a bus up, some do not like going past the pubs at night they find it intimidating. To ask Full Fed for their views on the venue, or ideas for another

7. Update of the review group.

Due to Val being off work sick there has been no more progress.

8. Suggestions for what could be included in each groups remit.

This was Sheila's idea, because the AGM is getting nearer and the new constitution has to be completed before then.

Not wanting to tread on Ruth's toes as chair of the review group, Sheila invited her to this meeting, but Ruth was otherwise engaged, and seemed a bit puzzled by the invite. Lack of communication! Sheila had not received a break down of what was to be expected of each group, but Sheila thinks that in some areas groups overlap. This was agreed by some. Most of the Management team do not want minutes to be done by a paid worker. The word convener is not thought to be right, maybe section leader would be better.

9. Tonight's meeting with Robert Turner from the council. Sheila was asked if Bob Metcalf could attend, Sue does not think he should, it will be put to the Fed tonight.

10. Pennine to be asked to include tenant's stalls on their flyers, for their conference, we will have to find out how many groups wish to take part.

11. Talbot and Towngate group.

Audrey told us a dissolution meeting has to be called to close this group, although tenants still want a group, this was proved by a survey, very few are attending meetings and most of the work is done by just two of them, Audrey is upset because she does not think she has had enough support from Tenant involvement workers.

Don told us that Ling Bob group has folded even though there is lots of ASB in the area, they feel they are getting nowhere. He has handed his phone back.

12. Staff, are being moved round too much.

Tenants have said there is no continuity, because of this, and have to go through the process of explaining every thing again to what could be a stranger. It has been suggested that too many staff are being sent to Sheffield and other places where Pennine wish to acquire properties, forgetting the original foundations of Pennine. The management will ask other peoples opinions on this and then ask Tom or Amanda to a future meeting.

13. Scrap for play.

Have asked if they can go on our web site, to advertise themselves, in return any registered group can have free stationary.

14. IT classes

Do we open up again on Monday mornings? The classes have not been running due to tutor's ill health. Thursdays classes are running again and maybe the tutor will be needed for a fact finding group, Richard has volunteered to open up for a Monday class if we can fill it.

If you wish to join the Monday group ring 07717773509 or 01422 365753
